Stephanie Layfield is a training specialist for technicians, dealers, and professionals in the Water Treatment Industry. As the owner and founder of Ionico Technical Services, Stephanie brings a unique perspective and style to highly technical topics, making them easy to understand for all levels of experience. Stephanie’s refreshing approach has made her a sought-after speaker, online educator, and consultant for water treatment companies across North America.
Stephanie inherited a passion for the water treatment industry from her father and grandfather, making her a third-generation water treatment expert. She attended Texas State University, where she majored in Aquatic Biology and minored in Chemistry.
Stephanie currently serves as a board member for TWQA and as a member of multiple WQA committees. She was named the Outstanding Young Person of the year by the TWQA in 2021 and Woman of the Year in 2022.
When not training, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, SGT Matthew Layfield, and daughters Evelyn and Abigail.
